May Meeting
Tuesday 15th May 2018 Topic - Bees and Honey Presenter - Greg Caughey This month we were treated to a fascinating talk by Greg Caughey, a registered bee keeper who began bee keeping about three years ago. He gave us a wonderful digital display of his own beehive as well as bringing along an empty bee box he uses for the collection of swarms. Greg explained the different types of bees and their duties within the hive and spoke to us about the various types of honey bees in Australia. There was also home made honey for purchase. Thank you very much Greg for a wonderful presentation. It was extremely well received and appreciated by the members.
