August Meeting
Tuesday 20th August 2019
Topic - Oxalis
Presenter - Joy Quinn
Our presentation today was given by Joy Quinn who spoke to us about Oxalis. Joy has a great love of this somewhat controversial plant which is often regarded as a weed by many. Indeed it can be a very invasive plant, and is not permitted to be grown or sold in N.S.W., but there are over 900 species of Oxalis world wide, many of which have very pretty flowers of various colours. Joy gave us a wonderful digital display accompanied by a delightful talk. She also brought along pots of different kinds of Oxalis and answered questions from the members. Thank you very much Joy - it was greatly appreciated!
