May Meeting
Tuesday 21st May 2019
Topic - The Eden Project
Presenter - June Valentine
This month the members were intrigued and delighted to hear June Valentine tell us all about her visit to The Eden Project in Cornwall, England. The Eden Project is a tourist attraction that consists of huge Domes which house thousands of plant species from all over the world. Each enclosure emulates a natural biome so that the plants can survive and thrive. June showed us a video of the construction phase and also the structure once it was completed. She gave us a very informative talk about the history of the project as well as wowing us with amazing images from her video presentation. It's definitely a placed to see if you're visiting the U.K. Thank you very much June for a wonderful talk. It was greatly enjoyed by members.
