A.G.M. & Break-Up Party

There were several items up for discussion at the A.G.M. this year, including a new fee structure. All resolutions were passed unanimously by the members. A new committee was elected - details are on the About Us page. Beth Booker graciously continues as our President for 2015, as does Shirley Yeomans as Vice-President, Bob Yeomans as Secretary and Kevin Yeap as Treasurer.

Life Membership was very deservedly bestowed on Thelma Eastaugh. Thelma is one of our Judges as well as a previous committee member who has worked tirelessly for the club for many years. Thank you Thelma, your continued support and participation is greatly appreciated!

Best Show Bench Exhibit

Members were invited to bring along one exhibit and the Show Bench this month was a treat - what an array of colour and variety!

Popular Vote Award

Members voted and prizes were awarded to : -

1 st - Helen Fearns-Wannan - a beautiful arrangement of red sweet peas

and white daisies

2nd - Erena Norris - her wonderful xmas themed Nandinas

3rd - Beth Nooker - a lovely mixed display of colour and fragrance

Perpetual Trophy

Rebecca Thompson had her name engraved on our Perpetual Trophy for the most prolific and successful exhibitor once again, making it four times in a row. Congratulations Rebecca - well done!

Party Time!

The Committee put on another amazing spread again this year. With the help of members there was a wonderful selection of sweet and savoury delights and no-one went home hungry!

The Fancy Hat competition was again lots of fun with Glenda taking the prize this year. Her hat was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and she looked like a burst of Spring!

Another wonderful break-up party, there was conversation aplenty with laughter heard all around - a fitting end to a very enjoyable year!
